Description
Tsingtao Brewery was founded in 1903 by German and British entrepreneurs as the Germania-Brauerei in the German concession of Qingdao, making it China's oldest brewery. It now holds about 15% of China's domestic beer market and accounts for roughly half of the country's beer exports, with 2024 revenue of around CNY 32.1 billion. The original Qingdao plant anchors the 'World of Tsingtao' museum.
