Description
Wang Lao Ji is a Chinese herbal tea producer founded in 1828 as an apothecary shop in Guangdong province; it is now made through Guangzhou Wanglaoji Health Industry (a subsidiary of Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Group) and, for the red-can product, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holding. Its formula and production process were designated a national intangible cultural heritage in 2006, and the brand exhibited at the 1925 London Exhibition and has been ranked China's top beverage brand.
