Description
Guizhou Xijiu is a distillery in Xishui County, about 50 km from the Moutai plant, tracing its roots to a Ming-dynasty workshop of the Yin family. Nationalized in 1952, it joined the Kweichow Moutai Group in 1998 as 'Moutai (Group) Xijiu' and was reorganized into the independent Guizhou Xijiu Co., Ltd. in 2022. It produces sauce-aroma (jiangxiang) baijiu with annual capacity exceeding 70,000 tons of base liquor.
