Yeepay (易宝支付), founded in Beijing in July 2003 by Chen Yu and Tang Bin, is one of China's earliest independent third-party payment institutions. It received one of the People's Bank of China's first payment licenses in May 2011, renewed in 2016. Rather than competing with consumer wallets like Alipay, Yeepay builds custom enterprise payment infrastructure for aviation, travel, retail, e-commerce and government clients.
