YTO Group (一拖, First Tractor) was founded in 1955 in Luoyang, Henan, as one of 156 key projects of China's first Five-Year Plan. In 1958 it built the Dongfanghong-54, China's first domestic tractor, based on the Soviet DT-54. The group makes farm and construction machinery, with a tractor lineup of 25-400 hp and output above 4 million units. Its unit First Tractor is the only Chinese farm-machinery maker listed in Hong Kong.
