Description
Zayed International Airport (formerly Abu Dhabi International, IATA: AUH) is the capital's main airport and Etihad's hub. Its new Terminal A opened in phases from 1 November 2023, with the airport's official renaming taking effect on 9 February 2024. Terminal A can process up to 45 million passengers a year — nearly triple the prior terminal's 15.5 million capacity — handling up to 79 aircraft and 11,000 passengers per hour at peak.
