ZhongAn Online P&C Insurance (众安在线), founded in Shanghai in 2013 by Ant Financial, Tencent and Ping An, was China's first fully online insurer. It listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (6060.HK) in September 2017, raising $1.5bn at an $11bn valuation — HK's largest IPO that year. Selling policies purely through digital channels, ZhongAn now holds over 20% of China's internet P&C insurance market, ranking first.
