ZTE (中兴通讯) is a Chinese maker of telecommunications equipment and systems headquartered in Shenzhen, founded in 1985. It supplies telecom operators as well as government and enterprise customers with communications-network gear, IoT, big data and cloud computing products, and is dual-listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (since 1997, the first major Chinese telecom-equipment maker to list there) and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (since 2004).
